About WIMBI Program

The Workplace Integration For Multi-Barriered Individual (WIMBI) program is a government-funded initiative in Canada, aimed at enhancing employability for unemployed, multi-barriered job seekers in BC. WIMBI aims to improve participants’ understanding of the work environment, increase employability skills, and support re-entry into the workforce for a sustainable job.

Eligibility Criteria

Immigration Status + Current resident of BC

  • Canadian Citizen
  • Permanent Resident
  • Refugee with Court Notice of Decision

Employment Status

  • Unemployed, multi-barriered Job seeker individual

Student Status

  • Not a full-time student

Other

  • Not actively participating in another provincially or federally funded labour Market program
